We are a non smoking establishment and to comply with our Fire insurance we must ask you to observe this.
For safety reasons and to comply with Fire insurance, deep fat frying and the use of candles are not allowed.
To comply with Fire regulations the fire doors must be kept closed and smoke alarms (checked before your arrival) must not be tampered with.
If for any reason you leave your flat unoccupied overnight we are required to know. To comply with Fire regulations we need to know who is in occupation of the premises.
The number of persons staying in each flat must not exceed the number agreed at the time of booking.
The occupants may only receive guests in the flats with the prior consent of the proprietors, who have the right to refuse.
All guests at the Kathrene must conduct themselves in an acceptable manner and in the interests of all occupants undue noise is discouraged at all times.
The proprietors have the right to cancel accommodation, if at any time, in their opinion, the behaviour of the occupants is detrimental to the well being, comfort or enjoyment of other guests.
For the comfort of other guests we request that the guests do not cook strong smelling foods. This includes smoked fish and the cooking of heavily spiced food.
Washing and drying must not be undertaken in the flats. This should be done off the premises or taken to a Launderette. There is one available within a short walk.
Guests are responsible for any damage, breakages or any missing items and undertake to pay for them, if any occur, during their stay.
The proprietors cannot accept any responsibility for the loss of articles, valuables or injury to guests during their stay.
We are proud of our high standards of comfort and cleanliness and we request that occupants co-operate in preserving these standards by leaving the apartments in a clean and tidy condition.
The front door of the building must be kept locked at all times.
Loss of keys will incur a charge of £10.
Pets accepted only by special arrangement.
Please note that a contract is now in force and if a cancellation is made, whatever the reason, please note that your deposit is not refundable. Also, in order to comply with the unfair Contract Terms Act we must point out that you will be liable for the balance if the flat cannot be re-let. It is therefore advisable to take out travel/holiday insurance. Cancellations must be made in writing.
